NAME

Metgm - Deliver meteorological forecast data in METGM/C format for defined areas

DESCRIPTION

Delivers meteorogical data in METGM format for artillery fire control systems according to NATO standard STANAG 6022:

This can also be delivered in compressed METGC format by using metgc instead of metgm in the URL path.

Note that files can be up to 35 MB in size, so downloads can take several seconds.

Parameters

area

This parameter is mandatory. Which area to get metgm data from. Current available areas are:

  • halkavarre
  • norwegian_north
  • norwegian_south
  • ostland
  • ostland2
  • setermoen
  • setermoen2

time

Time for first forecast in file. This parameter is mandatory and is on iso8601 format (YYYY-MM-DDTHH:00:00Z).

New forecasts are produced for 03, 09, 15 and 21 hours; use available to find all valid times.
