NAME

Sigmets - Aviation weather SIGMETs and AIRMETs for Norway

DESCRIPTION

This service delivers all issued AIRMETs, SIGMETs and Windshear warnings for Norway. AIRMET (Airmen's Meteorological Information) is a concise description of weather phenomena that may affect aircraft safety. SIGMET (Significant Meteorological Information) is used for more severe weather conditions than AIRMET. Both are only issued when such conditions should arise.

Both warnings are delivered in text-based TAC format (similar to Tafmetar). If no warnings are issued, a blank document is returned.
